The plugin has a number of parameters (detection thresholds, blur type, etc.) set by default. However, it is possible to modify them.
Most of the time, you will find that changing settings that affect detection and track is unnecessary, as default values have been chosen to be effective in almost all situations.
However, in certain circumstances, changing the default values, such as the detection threshold, can be useful.
This parameter allows you to set the strength of the blur. The higher this value is, the less the blurred object could be recognized.
The value for this setting may depend on the number of pixels of the object. An object with higher definition (more pixels) will require a higher value.
Be careful, the value of this setting can impact the processing time if you set it too high!
This setting defines the threshold from which a face/license plate will be detected. If you set it too low, some parts of the frame may be incorrectly detected. If you set it too high, some faces/license plates may not be detected.
This parameter defines the maximum threshold from which two detected areas are treated as two separate objects. If two detections are too close the smaller is deleted.
This parameter defines the maximum threshold between two consecutive detections (between 2 frames) to be treated as the same object. If two detections on two different frames overlap more than the threshold they will be added to the track.
Minimal value for which we consider a track as valid. A track will be considered valid if a detection is at least equal to the threshold.
This setting is currently not used and will be removed from future versions.
When checked, all detected faces will be blurred by default.
When checked, all detected license plates will be blurred by default.
